Dear Governor Jan Brewer,

Hola! My name is Michelle Vences, I am 14 years old and attend an all girls school. I am a resident of the United States, but I am still Mexican. I feel like I can relate to you because we’re both Latinas. You might not be able to do anything but I just want you to hear me out. It’s the new immigration law, we cant let this happen, we Mexicans work hard., we earn our respect, we come to U.S. to find new opportunities and a better life. What would you Americans do with out us? Americans have so many opportunities but don’t use them. We don’t, we wish we did. We don’t want to live hiding, scared and losing opportunities in life. Like I said before, I know you can’t do anything about it, but I just wanted you to hear me out. Los Mexicanos vinieron para triunfar!

Dear Governor Jan Brewer,
I understand that you just passed law in Arizona. I think that that law is not fair, and should have not gotten approved. This issue is important to me because I have family and friends that are now in fear as well. We can’t even go over there and this is all because of you!

But, Oh my friend, don’t hesitate, at least not yet. You can still make a change, and make things better. Now think about it, not like when you signed the contract, because there, you did not think.
